Whether you wanted a natural beauty or hint of liveliness, a peach lipstick can best accentuate your features. This shade has been seen being worn by Hollywood stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Eva Mendes and Kate Hudson. Peach is a color which spells out simplicity. Its subtlety can give out an aura of a woman confident about her beauty but would rather remain discreet about it. The best peach lipstick can be worn by any woman, may she be a Hollywood celebrity or not.

Lipsticks have been around since ancient times. In Egyptian civilization, it was used by the most beautiful woman in the Nile, Cleopatra. Lack of laboratories did not prevent these ancient people from finding ways to place a tint in their lips. They found ways of benefiting from their available resources. Powdered stones with different hues were applied to the lips.

Having shade problems?

It is true that a lipstick can change a girl’s image. A variety of shades are off to make this possible. Darker shades such as brown can make the lips appear thinner. Lighter shades such as pink, light orange, peach and light taupe can make the lips appear plump. It also goes that the shade of your lipstick match well with your hair. Blondes look good with nude and coral shades. Brunettes look flattering with shades of brown. Women with dark hair should opt for mahogany or wine reds.

If you do not have a white skin but still want to use a peach lipstick, you can experiment with the undertones. Although peach lipsticks look best with fair-skinned women, you can sport a shade of peach by using a different kind of intensity in color, may it be darker or lighter. To do this, apply the color on one lip, then try to check if it is two shades darker than the other lip without color. If it is, then you can wear that shade of lipstick and can be assured it will look good on you.

Tips for your lips

Also take heed in glosses and matte lipstick. Matte lipstick will look wrinkled in dry lips. It is best to use a lipstick with added moisturizer if you have this lip problem. As for glosses, make sure that you don’t apply too much or else you will look standoffish. Just a simple glide will do. Certain lipsticks also provide added sunscreen protection.

You can apply lip liners according to your own preference. You can apply it before if you wanted to see the actual contour of your lips. However, lining after applying lipstick can produce a natural effect since the lip liner won’t look too visible. It is also a rule that the color of your liner should be lighter than the shade of your lipstick. If not doing so, you can be rest assured that people will go staring at your lips the whole time.

Women with plump lips should opt for warmer shades which can help tone down the size. Having plump lips plus wearing a bright pink shade would make you look like you have your lips placed all over your face. As much as possible avoid using too much gloss. If you have dry, plump lips, you can just apply the gloss right in the center without touching the edges.
